A virtual line for food trucks

Yavoy gives your food truck a line customers join from their phone. They order at the window, scan the QR code and walk away, then get a text when it's time to come back, so nobody crowds the window waiting to hear their name.

How does it work at a food truck?

Step 1

Order as usual

Customers order and pay at the window the way they do today. Yavoy doesn't take orders or payments.

Step 2

Scan the QR code

They scan the poster on the truck and type a first name, plus a mobile number if they want a text. Busy window? Your team adds them by name in a few seconds.

Step 3

Walk away

They sit down, grab a drink or check out the next truck. Their phone shows their place in line and a time range that updates on its own.

Step 4

Come back for the food

When the order is almost ready, tap Notify and they get a text to head back now. Tap Done when they pick it up.

What does a lunch rush look like?

Twenty people order in fifteen minutes. Instead of a crowd at the window and someone calling names over the noise, the line is on one screen in the order people paid, and each customer knows roughly how long they have.

Someone who wandered off and doesn't come back in time is marked as a no-show, and the next order goes out.

What if the truck moves every day?

Your QR code and join link never change, so the same poster works at every stop. Set your usual hours, pause the line when you're closing up, and close it for the day when you leave.

How do I set it up?

Sign up and pick Other as your business type.

In Settings, choose one shared line so orders go out in the order they came in.

Rename the starter service to Order and set the minutes an order usually takes. Add a longer one for big orders if you like.

Print the QR poster and tape it by the window. Then join your own line from your phone to try it.

What does it cost for a food truck?

$29.99 a month for the first seat and $20 for each extra seat, plus sales tax. Each paid seat adds 750 texts a month. Most customers get two texts (one when they join, one when it's time), so a busy truck may want extra texts: $5 per 250, up to a limit you set. Try it free for 14 days, no card needed.

Questions and answers

What if a customer doesn't want to scan?

Your team adds them by first name and calls them out loud when the order is ready, like today. Customers who scan without a number can keep the page open instead of getting a text.

What does the text say?

It starts with your truck's name and tells the customer they're next and to head back now, in their language. Customers get at most 3 texts per order and can reply STOP any time. No marketing texts.

Does it work in Spanish?

Yes. The join page, the texts and the staff screens are in English and Spanish, and customers switch with one tap.
